Word of the Day - POSITION

The Word of the Day is POSITION. Your position is where you are and where you are going. Positioning involves being in the right place at the right time doing the right thing. Position also includes your perspective, your views, or opinion on a matter. Position is a huge determinant of success. In most cases, if we are in a good position as a result of solid decision-making, we will achieve good results. If we are out of place and in a not so good position, we will experience not so good results. Class ranking, GPA, leadership roles like Class President or Student Council President, summer internships, participation in extracurricular hobbies and interests, and goal-oriented and goal-driven placement can catapult us to success. Where are you? Where are you going? How will you get there? What opportunities will you take advantage of where you are to get where you are going? In other words, how will you PLAY YOUR POSITION? What intentional decisions will you make to improve your position? Remember, DECISIONS DETERMINE YOUR POSITION.
